- Saturday 30 January holding a drop in surgery for local residents at Sainsburys Supermarket in Walthamstow High Street between 12pm and 2pm.

- Tuesday 18 January attending the Public Accounts Committee to examine productivity in the NHS, and the Backbench Business Committee to urge the government to give time for a vote on capping the cost of unsecured lending.
- Wednesday 19 January attending the Public Accounts Committee to look into government departments’ accountability to parliament, and helping organise a vote in the House of Commons against the Government’s decision to scrap Educational Maintenance Allowances (see below).

Walthamstow Labour Party's Festive (and family friendly) Fundraiser Sunday 19 December
Special guests: Tessa Jowell MP & Vernon Coaker MP! Join us on Sunday 19 December at the Welcome Centre in Walthamstow village next to St Mary's Church for a festive afternoon of fun and fundraising for Labour! All are welcome at this event which is in a venue just three minutes walk from Walthamstow Central Station.


Our special guests are the Rt Hon Tessa Jowell MP, Labour's Spokesperson on the Olympics, and Vernon Coaker MP, Shadow Police Minister. There'll be activities for children of all ages including facepainting and party games as well as musical performances and of course lots of festive food!
Tickets are £12 in advance (£15 on the door), £8 for OAPs and unwaged and £3 each for under 11s - or you can buy a family ticket for just £25! We will contact you to confirm your place at this event once this is received.
